Surviving My First High School Finals
It was all a heck of a week, but I’m very happy that it’s over! This week was definitely a hard one because I had 6 finals that were are very challenging in their own ways. I began day one of finals with an Algebra 2/Trig Honors test. This test I studied a lot for and I ended up getting a 100% on it! I also had a final test on a novel that we just finished reading in Language Arts. We had just finished reading Great Expectations by Charles Dickens and I enjoyed reading it overall (even though it was 466 pages!!). The test was not too bad and I think that I did pretty well on it. Day 2 of finals was the most challenging day for me. I had two finals on that day – biology and Algebra 2/Trig. The biology test was hard! It was not exactly straightforward and there was a lot of applying concepts to different examples and criteria. The biology final was definitely one of the hardest tests that I have ever taken before! The algebra 2/trig test was much easier compared to the biology test that I took. I was confident about my answers. Day 3 of finals was the easiest day for me. I had two finals on that day – Spanish 2 Honors and AP Computer Science Principles. The Spanish final was easy for me because I studied a lot for it. The Computer Science test was pretty simple too because I was well prepared for it.
Overall, high school finals was… interesting. I know what to expect now and I’m ready for it again and again!
