MIT Blueprint Hackathon: First Place for Beginner Website Development!

Two weeks ago, I competed at Blueprint (blueprint.hackmit.org), MIT's largest HS hackathon offered to students globally. MIT's Blueprint hackathon invited nearly 400 students to the event.

I'm excited to share that my team & I won first place for the Web Dev Beginner category. We worked together to build a web app that teaches youths about sustainability—built completely within 5-hours! The app is called Composty and it intersects environmentalism with valuable computer science skills including HTML, CSS, & JavaScript. Awards ceremony: https://youtu.be/051V8urBa5E
