My Kode With Klossy Experience

Hi, blog! I recently graduated as a scholar at Kode With Klossy in the Apple iOS mobile app development camp and am super sad that it's over. At Kode With Klossy, I spent over 70 hours learning and coding, including Night Hacks to brush up on my coding skills.

Near the end of Kode With Klossy, we had an exciting opportunity to code a mobile app and then create a pitch deck to present to the camp. I've always dreamed of making an app dedicated to environmental sustainability and so I suggested to the team that we call our app "Green and Gleam"—the app allows users to participate in various sustainability challenges and calculate their carbon footprint using a hyperlinked button.

This summer experience was my first time coding in Swift and I'm beyond thankful to have had this opportunity to learn how to code with the scholarship provided by Kode With Klossy. Here's to more learning, growing, and coding 🙂
