*Breaking News* Linens N Love’s Biggest Delivery Yet (990 linens donated!)
990 linens donated from Linens N Love to Mercy House Bridges at Kraemer Place!!
After much back-and-forth communication and coordination, I FINALLY got the perfect date and timing for Linens N Love's summer kickoff delivery event at the Mercy House Bridges of Kraemer Place! Our summer kickoff delivery event took place on May 25, 2019 and we had Portola, Esperanza, Canyon, Yorba Linda, and Valencia Linens N Love members come to our event.
After we donated 990 linens, we were off to the Embassy Suites for our leadership activities. My co-founder and I hosted three leadership activities, my favorite being the Finger Paint activity! This activity requires the teams to have to paint with their fingers the secret word (which is related to Linens N Love).
I'd say today was a pretty successful day. Not only did we encourage over 40 high school students and their family members to engage in community service, but we also all had such a fun time bonding with one another and meeting new people. It was great seeing how much everyone enjoyed the event and how so many people came up to me after the event to ask about how they can get more involved with Linens N Love!!
