NJHS Love Placentia

NJHS Love Placentia

Today was fantastic! I woke up at 8 am to participate in Love Placentia, a community service project. Love Placentia is a way of giving back to our school by cleaning up and freshening up our school. We began our service project by sweeping the floor and raking leaves. It was really windy today, so it was a little hard to do this. After I finished raking about 500 leaves, I moved on to the next open area. There was an open area which was to spread mulch in the plant areas and to even out the mulch. I thought that this task was more exciting since there was less dust going into my eyes and also I was more interested in working with plants rather than leaves. Some people washed the doors and windows while others raked leaves. After the doors and windows were washed, the whole campus definitely felt cleaner. Kraemer’s ground was all cleaned up and the plant areas looked freshened up. Overall, Love Placentia was a great service event to wrap up the 2016-2017 Kraemer Middle School NJHS chapter. I cannot wait to pass on the traditions of NJHS to future NJHS members! ♥
