Yay!! So happy to be this month's recipient of the $1,000 award from the Awesome Foundation. I applied for this award in January after learning more about the organization and I know that this award and grant will be so beneficial for Linens N Love. They are a "global community advancing the interest of awesome in the universe, $1000 at a time" (AwesomeFoundation.org) dedicated to providing micro-grants of $1,000 to the applicant's organization, in my case: Linens N Love!
Since 2009, the Awesome Foundation has been providing these grants and awards. To date, they have provided over $4,000,000 in grants that have funded over 4,000 projects internationally. They have been recognized by The New York Times, BBC, CBC.
