I loved interning at the North Orange County Chinese School for Teacher Lin! Over the 2018-2019 school year, I was accepted as an intern for the school as a teaching intern. In case you didn't know, I LOVE teaching and tutoring. It makes me so happy to pass my knowledge onto other children and see their faces light up when they finally understand the concept.
The highlights of my internship were reading the stories to the entire class, as well as planning and setting up the Chinese Lunar New Year venue. I enjoyed this internship because it not only encompassed teaching young children, but it also provided me with an opportunity to get more involved with community outreach. The Chinese Lunar New Year event was open to the students, as well as parents and families.
